Privacy notice

In short: this site does not store your information. What you write to book travels through WhatsApp from your own phone, and the only thing measured is how many people visit and which content is useful.

Who is responsible for your data

Dr. David Alejandro Rojas Hernández, Internal Medicine specialist, with offices in Culiacán, La Cruz de Elota and Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico, is responsible for the personal data you provide through this site.

What data is collected

This site does not automatically collect information beyond browsing data. What you share is what you choose to send:

How it is used

Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Cookies and measurement technologies

This site is hosted on Vercel and uses its audience measurement tools (page views and visitor origin, without identifying you) and, when campaigns are running, the Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram) to know whether an ad worked. These tools record browsing behavior in aggregate.

You can disable them from your browser privacy settings or, for Meta, from the ad preferences in your Facebook account.

The website assistant

The site includes an automated assistant that answers logistical questions: fees, hours, locations, what tests to bring and how to book. It is not a physician and does not replace a consultation, and it is barred from making diagnoses, interpreting symptoms or results, and recommending treatment or medication.

When you type into the assistant, your message is sent to Anthropic, the language-model provider that generates the reply, solely for that purpose. No identifying information is requested, and conversations are not linked to your name or added to any medical record. Please do not enter personal data, symptoms or test results there — that is what a consultation is for. If you prefer, you can write directly on WhatsApp without using the assistant.

Your medical record is separate

Medical information generated during a consultation —clinical history, studies, diagnosis and treatment— is part of your medical record and is handled under Mexican standard NOM-004-SSA3-2012 and medical professional secrecy. That record is confidential and is not managed through this website.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to its use, at any time, and withdraw your consent. To do so, send a WhatsApp message or call the contact number; you will be told what information is held and what applies in your case.

Changes to this notice

If this notice changes, the updated version will be published on this same page. We suggest reviewing it if you send information through the site again.
